We were blessed enough to spend some well needed time alone away from our two special needs children which is few and far between. However after spending an amazing two days at the Rawhide Ranch we have deceided to come back as soon as we are able, but bring the kids and maybe a few friends as well! The accomadations were fantastic, we loved the Doc Holiday suite. We can not say enough how much we enjoyed the trail ride led by Jeff, he answered every question we through out at him. Thanks again and hope to come back soon the Walls family.

As a small business owner, finding a place to have a staff retreat, build team spirit and camaraderie and bring along family is not easy. You just might have the best kept secret in Indiana, when it comes to a place to get away and enjoy nature. Your staff was so friendly and accommodating yet at the same time left us alone to do our own thing. The food and service were outstanding. Jennifer and Terry were just such a delight and took care of any and every need. Staying in the Buck Inn was a great experience. The rooms were such a nice surprise and every family fir perfectly into their special accommodations. The highlight of the weekend had to be the horse trail rides. Everyone agreed that the horses, trail boss, the route in the woods and the experience were outstanding. The hayride and singing cowboy were also fun. Everyone at the office wants to know when we are going back.

Mark and I had the best time ever during the Murder Mystery Dinner and overnight stay with breakfast on Sunday morning. The rooms were great, the food really good (and lots of it). But best of all were the staff and
the other guests who joined in the fun at what was called Rawhide Valley. I think this was a first time involvement for all guests - but no one could tell - what a great group of folks. Might have to check out the one

We held our church's ladies retreat this year at the Rawhide Ranch. We had
a GREAT time!! The guys were so nice and we had a terrific time taking the
trail ride. We are planning to hold our retreat there again next spring
and bring even more ladies with us!!

I went to the 2006 kids horse retreat and I had the best week of my liofe.
There is nothing about this place you can't like. Everything is good.
The counselors were nice, and most of all, the horses. They were awesome
and I can't wait until next year when we go back. I am going to go up to
the Rawhide Ranch sometime in the spring to visist my horse, Hee Haw.

Every year I try to find a special place for my daughter, who is
challenged, and myself to spend a couple of days on vacation. After
staying at Rawhide Ranch last week, I have to search no more. Tara is
still talking about our time at the ranch. It was like vacationing with
family. We are already starting to plan our vacation with you folks next year.

Rawhide Ranch in Nashville, Indiana is our favorite place to visit, and they have been so instrumental in helping my daughter regain her strength after suffering for 8 years from a serious chronic illness.
Even though it is 85 miles from our driveway in Terre Haute to the top of the hill at Rawhide Ranch, we travel there quite frequently, year round. We usually go for the day, but occasionally spend the night.
My daughter, Leah, loves horses, and had to part with hers due to her illness. I frequently call or email Rawhide and request the "usual" which for us is a lesson and a trail ride for my daughter. While my daughter rides, I usually spend the time taking pictures or catching up on some reading. Some days, I'll tag along on a trail ride. On occasion, even though my son doesn't care for horses, he'll go with us.
My daughter has a favorite horse she likes to ride at Rawhide and affectionately calls him "Dr." Sky. Sky,
along with Jenny, the manager, and Jeff, the ranch foreman, have played an important role in building her confidence as a rider. Many hours have been spent riding the trails and cantering around
the arena. Sky has helped ease the pain when my daughter had to part with her own horse due to her health problems. Plus, there is nothing more therapeutic than to ride a horse surrounded by nature
with such great people. Leah's doctor from the Mayo Clinic thoroughly approves of our "stamina building
program."

We wanted to thank you for an amazing experience at the Rawhide Ranch.  We really enjoyed our stay.  This is something that our son, Tyler, will always remember and treasure in his heart.  He misses the horses tremendously and even brought home a souvenir rock from the driveway to remember them by.  We appreciate the way you made us feel welcome and allowed us to help with the daily feeding and leading of the horses.  The trail rides were the best we've had yet!  We couldn't have asked for a better experience!  We look forward to coming back for another family vacation in the near future.

We go to the ranch even though we have horses of are own just to get
away. We only live about 1HR. away. The staff is great. They make you
feel apart of the ranch and at home. Our 12yr.old & 16yr old went to
horse camp they loved it. It was the frist time away from us. I am all
so having my 40th birthday party there this year.We just can't stay
away! The horses are just loveable. See you guy's in Oct. And Thanks

My husband and I were in Bean Blossom for the Bluegrass Festival. We realized it would last into the late hours and we would need a place to stay. We rode to Brown County and searched most of the motels, there were no available rooms. The last one we went to suggested Rawhide Ranch. We quickly arrived there to meet Derek. He was very nice, and rented a room to us for the night. When I first saw Buck Inn, I was amazed at the unique style. Derek showed the available rooms and we knew this was the place we would stay every time we visit Brown County. The country setting is amazing, nestled up in the trees on a big hill. The rooms are rustic and cozy and very clean. We got up the next morning and walked around. We went to the pond and to the pasture to pet the horses. We sat in the rocking chairs on a huge deck and drank our coffee. We can't wait to return there. I would recommend this place over any motel in Brown County. THANKS for a wonderful weekend. We will see you guys again soon!

My husband and I had our wedding there at the ranch and it was phenomenal! The ranch staff was amazing, especially Derek, who worked his tail off to ensure that our wedding was absolutely perfect! We
received so many compliments on the site, the pictures turned out amazing, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting! Several of our guests said that they would love to return and I know that my
husband and I are definitely planning a return trip! You all have no idea how much it meant to us to have our wedding there and the dedication the staff had to making it so memorable! I can't wait to go back!
