While we are exceptionally well set up for individuals and families,
we also excel at hosting large groups. We provide a unique environment
for company meetings, retreats, and seminars that have been traditionally
held at hotels. We have a setting that will help to bring a family reunion
closer together. We are an ideal setting for a large group celebration in
the center of scenic Brown County. We are a "mountain top" for various
church group functions. And Rawhide Ranch is becoming a very popular
location for weddings of all sizes.

You may be asking yourself, where do we hold these
large events? The first floor of the Buck Inn is a 32 stall
horse barn. The interior is only used for horses a week or
two out of the year. The rest of the time it is a banquet hall
with stalls as decorations. We provide the real country
atmosphere for that unique experience. |
Facility fees: We do charge a facility fee for large events. This fee covers additional trash pickup, additional staff for day of event, additional port-a-johns, decrease in public horse activity, grounds cleanup from event and more. For events that utilize the barn for loud and late activities, it is mandated that the entire Buck Inn is rented by the event holders. We mandate that the Buck Inn be rented the night before a wedding if you plan on decorating the day before.

Catering: We are now able to provide you with a full western menu
from a well known Bloomington restaurant and caterer,
Colorado Steakhouse. Are you looking for a real backyard
cookout for your family reunion or a wedding reception served on
fine china? Either way, thanks to Colorado steakhouse, we are able
to serve you. Menus are available upon request. |

Barn dances: Do you want to have a real old fashioned barn dance with a live band, or would you rather have a more modern disc jockey that can provide you with Karaoke? No matter your taste in music or fun, we are able to provide you with a musical experience your group will cherish. |
Singing cowboys: If a barn dance sounds too large or not your style, we have several gentlemen who will serenade you around your campfire. Singing cowboys offer either an authentic taste of an old cowhand with his acoustic guitar singing songs of life on the trail or a more modern cowboy with an electric guitar who will play your requests on the spot.

The Adventure Center, located in Belmont Indiana, and Rawhide have teamed up to offer a more complete ropes course experience. Sticking out of the tree tops in Brown County are two large structure that will challenge the individual as well as the team. These two elements are known as the Double Decker ropes course and the Tango Tower. Everyone has heard of a zip line, but a double zip line? Challenge your group to overcome the Tango Tower or the two person Giant Swing!
